What is a Birth Doula?
A Birth Doula is a trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to a pregnant person and their partner/family before, during and shortly after childbirth helping them achieve the healthiest, most satisfying birth experience possible.
Studies have shown that when doulas attend birth, labors are shorter with fewer complications, babies are often healthier and breast feed more easily, the mother has a more empowered experience and is more likely to have a positive postpartum.

For this service I will offer online virtual support via: Phone calls, texts and WhatsApp chat and video calls through WhatsApp video calls, zoom and skype. Whichever suits you and your partner best.
