ENES

Support for the whole person within the perinatal experience.

Fertility, pregnancy, birth and postpartum can bring questions, decisions, emotions, uncertainty — and experiences we can prepare for, alongside others we simply cannot predict.

BREATHE is a space to understand what you’re navigating, explore your options, and feel supported through the uncertainty as you find your way forward.

Support available in English + Español.

You may be here because…

You have questions, but you're not always sure who to ask.

You have information — maybe even too much of it — but you're still trying to understand what it means for you.

You're facing decisions you didn't expect to have to make.

Something feels heavier, more complicated, or more uncertain than you thought it would.

Or maybe things are going beautifully, and you simply want to learn, prepare, and understand what lies ahead.

Sometimes you need answers.

Sometimes you need better questions.

And sometimes you just need someone beside you to say:

Okay. Let’s take this one step at a time.

The BREATHE Approach

Support isn’t only about what is offered. How it is offered matters, too.

I listen before I offer.

Your story comes before my answer.

Every person brings a different experience, different questions and different needs. Support begins with understanding yours.

I make the complicated easier to hold.

Clear information. Honest conversations. No unnecessary panic.

I help you make sense of what you're navigating without adding more overwhelm to the experience.

I inform without taking over.

Knowledge gives you a voice within the experience — not control over it.

My role is to help you understand, ask questions and explore your options so you can make decisions that feel right for you.

I mean it when I say I'm here.

You deserve support not only when things break, but when they feel heavy.

Sometimes support means information or practical tools. Sometimes it means having someone beside you while you figure out what comes next.

Veronica Pertuso

Bilingual Birth Worker & Educator

For nearly nine years, I have worked alongside families through different parts of the perinatal experience. Along the way, I’ve supported more than 150 families through my work as a full-spectrum doula.

My professional foundation began before birth work. I earned my degree in Clinical Psychology in Venezuela after six years of university study. Since entering the birth world in 2018, that foundation has continued to grow through years of hands-on experience, ongoing education, curiosity, and the countless lessons that come from sitting beside people through some of life’s biggest transitions.

Today, my work has grown to support people across fertility, pregnancy, birth and postpartum — bringing everything I’ve learned along the way into the work I do through BREATHE.

I believe support can be both deeply human and deeply informed.

Childbirth Education

Understand birth.
Explore your options.

Prepare for what lies ahead.

Birth doesn’t always follow the plan. Preparation isn’t about making sure that it does.

It’s about understanding how birth works, exploring your options, knowing what questions to ask, and having the tools to participate in decisions — even when the experience takes an unexpected turn.

This course brings together physiology, practical preparation, informed decision-making, partner support, interventions, and what happens after birth — because preparing for birth means preparing for more than the moment your baby arrives.

Knowledge doesn’t give you control over the experience. It gives you a voice within it.
